Government, guns, and mind tricks…

Whilst most people live their arduous days far away from intellectual discourse and analysis, the corporate world is growing in power. The Edward Bernays days of Public Relations are long gone; we have been left behind “at the dawn of a new millennium”… which is a quote, from the movie Bullworth. Bullworth, was a biographical and very insightful political satire, about corporate interests (such as insurance companies as is the case in the film), and the extent to which these entites are so deeply merged (financially) with conventional “public interest” funded, mainstream politicians in the U.S of A and most of the developed world.
If you consider political satires, like Jon Stewart or the Colbert report to be good and democratic… you might just be a little wrong. Did Jon Stewart help impeach Bush? Did Bill Maher make America atheist? Did Stanley Kubrick’s movie “Dr. Strangelove” halt nuclear bomb manufacturing? Did Monty Python remove the queen of England?
The answer to all of these questions is NO. These shows present beautiful and selfless imag
es, while the reality is often more grim. These shows are manufactured in big-time studio producers’ offices, with of course, the supervisors and lawyers who represent mainstream corporate interests. These shows represent a product, and are sold to advertisers as such. The same mythologies are created for companies such as Google and Microsoft. Google is a big-time military contractor, and therefore a good friend of the Pentagon’s interests.
Good examples of this psychological manipulation, is paying to go to church and having the book read to you (Scientology), paying to watch commercials on your digital cable or basic cable television, or even (contemporary) paying a walloping bill for your cell phone and receiving text messaged ads you never asked for(or in the future ads before your phone call). Are your sentiments that this tom foolery is all indirect and harmless?
Decent services have been manipulated into products. Hardcore capitalists glorify this manipulation as truthful and honest. Google has a motto “don’t be evil”, created while they were at the beck and call of the Department of Defense with billion dollar contracts. Even the spiritual Macintosh, has been implicated in this public phenomenon. During the Iraq invasion, Macintosh received large contracts from the Bush Administration. Or, we could simply talk about the billions of dollars which go into the Department of Defense’s Public Relations Campaigns, NASCAR sponsorings, X-Game sponsoring and several videogame creations. All this, in the name of giving constant face lifts to an Empirical army. Same went for Nike after the Chinese sweatshop incident. Or even Blackwater’s face lift which is currently in the making.
Realities are often a tad more illusory then they appear to be at first glimpse.
Psyops, propaganda, or information warfare… whatever you chose to call it, does exist. Today it is everywhere, and practically inescapable. Yet it is not seen as a threat, when it might just be the iron curtain which has been pulled over much of the Western and Eastern World. This is essential in understanding Global Corporate Take-over, because Psy-operations are part of the problem.
We have heard the statistics: over a million dead in Iraq, 1% of our planet living off of the other 99% and over a billion people living in absolute poverty. Yet our televisions have been telling us for decades, that they are in the happenings of making a better world.
Yes, they are making a better world…. but not for us. They are making a better world for the rich. We have allowed our Universities to clamor on the highly intellectual frequencies, that this is all a constant scheme for the greater good. Elitism, money, violence, victims, and hatred are all for the greater good. Well, said like this I would disagree. But if it is painted up like a Michelangelo ceiling piece, then everyone looks up, and not down. “Baby, don’t worry, caus’ every little thing is gonna be alright” sang by a Jamaican voice, while half of the island is impoverished and enslaved to the IMF’s Corporate interests. Interestingly enough, also on the sound track of the mainstream movie “Battle of Seattle”. Recent protests, such as in Toronto last year or Strasbourg’s the year before, were far worse in retrospect than Seattle’s. “The movie ran through me” whilst our televisions told us that these protests were normal, and were naturally being repressed, in the good, honest, almost sacred spirit of private interest. But hush, hush caus’ everything is gonna be alright, baby…
A financial crisis opens up cheap markets, businesses and thrifty labor for the elites of a dominating economy, and the excessive consciousness of class warfare tends to reemerge under these conditions. The globalist economy of today has not escaped this simple reminder of inequality. This is why our crisis has been a psychological war, hosted by the spokesmen of our elites, performed by our nation’s politicians, with the help of certain acquiescent world leaders and propagandized by the well paid mainstream media.
These entities spin the eyes that watch, feeding their minds contorted false concepts. They show us mass
protests, violence and crime, while important events are censored, ignored or camouflaged and retailored with dubious intent. We sit down to watch good looking people tell us that we need to protect our businesses.
Businesses are more important than the interests of millions of citizens, according to the Bieber converted mainstream consortium.
Wealthy people do exploit cheap markets, businesses and thrifty labor, which coincidentally become abundant during an economic crisis. So it therefore might be safe to assume that a crisis benefits the extremely rich, and that rich people would have a lot of interest in manipulating a crisis. Wouldn’t they? This truth has rarely been acknowledged by any recent academic. Yet, it might be a very important clue, if we as a world, are to evade a future financial crisis, or criminalize a past manipulated crisis. It is what you would call in a criminal case “a motive”.
Instead, we are told, that we the general public (which just happens to make up 99% of humanity) are at fault. We are the animals who have been messing up the beautiful world, petrol corporations have left us as heritage. We consume too much energy. It is the masses fault that companies don’t use recycled products. We drink too much water. Water should therefore be more expensive, or bottled in carcinogenic material, so that people consume less.
Meanwhile, corporations continue to act like pigs, while the masses are being instructed that they are responsible for large automobile corporations systematically neglecting or discouraging the manufacturing of electric cars. Obviously the way they present this information, is melded and repackaged, and definetely not cried out, as ironically, as it is in this article. Why?
Today’s leading car companies, are encouraged to rob and famish poorer nations, in order to make environmentally conscious products such as bio-ethanol and other similar eco products. Go green!
We are being sold into the idea that eco-markets better the world, when they only better our egos, for the most part. The eco concept, far too complicated for the average person, who regularly watches Hollywood movies, specifically designed for audiences under 18. Instead we are told that everything is taken care of, so therefore we have nothing to worry about… and should go back to our favorite stores, keep buy and shut up. We buy Ikea type modeled schematics to build ideas which were generated by the top… not the mass. Then after the commercial (for objective analysis), we get visually bombarded with information on the escalating amounts of global poverty. Or; how America has many things to learn from China’s Communistic ideologies… and how western democracy is actually BAD.
And once again, we dive into a cesspool of false realities. Our wealthy counter parts are digging into their deep pockets, to paint up billions of living skulls with ideals, false logic and strange rituals. They tell us to consume, and support our Government (which is supposed to represent the country, although in reality, the government only represents about 1% of our Country’s interests, hates gays, and loves to bombard innocent people with white phosphorus, Agent Orange and other tasty named weapons… all in the bloody name of peace). We are told to pay taxes for military parades, which cost over $500,000.00 in tax payer’s money (in fuel costs alone), and then… warned that our budget is in severe deficit, and that oil prices are rising dramatically.
In today’s “crisis” economy, wealthy nations are literally being used to bully emerging economies. And yet, we are not educated on why these obstructive and systemic incidents occur. Our ad infested corporate media definitely doesn’t pay any/or very little attention to anything serious, unless it benefits our wealthiest 1%’s interests. The mainstream media is much less stochastic than it claims… when it defends itself against conspiracy theorists on subjects ranging from 9/11 to Kennedy.
The worldwide demand for natural foods, local agriculture, and all natural products (such as bio-ethanol made
from corn) affect the price of foods in poorer nations dramatically. And they are being manipulated, under the unwatchful eye of the public and the domineering supervision of the UN, which is for the most part, brainwashed by interest groups promoting ideals of elitist dominance over the masses as the only effective possibilty for humanity. Global watchdogs (paraded as part of the amphitheater of democratic values) are shunned or spun by the media, which most people pay for, and sometimes watch.
Our mainstream media currently brainwashes and exploits its public, with docile messages on better ways to eat, drive and live. They are making individuals very self-conscious. Even Hollywood’s humor has become very self-conscious. We are all bettering ourselves. But we have left behind billions of people who can no longer afford the price of rice, wheat and other such necessities. Strange for people who clamor “embetterment”. Where is the media representation for this reality? Does this reality not concern us?
Oh it’s the crisis. We must keep our jobs and our dignity in silence. And eat and “shut up”.
While most do chose to wallow in silence, others protest. They spend sleepless nights outdoors, not to meditate, do yoga, or talk about recycling. They are fighting (in person), against the psychological warfare played out for those who watch in silence.
And some are catching on. Governments cannot eternally shun the use and expense of hiring 1 police officer for every 5 protesters. Especially, when over 90% of protesters are deemed peaceful… veterans… retired… gentile… concerned… hard working people. The results of these protests, only make sense to those who make money… controlling the losing number of minds, who are increasingly finding it very difficult to ingurgitate, this nonsensical rhetoric.
In Toronto, the police illegally held hundreds of civilians, without any severe criticism from the mainstream media. The only problem was that cops were caught impersonating violent anarchists. And that is a big problem, for any ruling elite… which, lucky for us, can only rule these days, by rallying up the diminishingly positive public opinion. They aren’t stupid. They know that they have nowhere to hide. And that is why, they are starting to be violent, once again. They need fascism to create catharsis for those who try to go against their ideas. And the only true catharsis they know is blood.
